An ''ultrasound tech'' is the job title, and I believe it only takes an Associate is Degree or sort of job training program. The ultrasound is a radiologic tecnology (it is not quite radiology--you'd need to got to med school to be an actual radiologist). In a few areas of the country, they get paid comparably to a R.N.
